Waterless SPA manicure and pedicure: how gloves and socks with emulsion work

In short: a waterless manicure or pedicure is done in disposable gloves and socks with an emulsion inside. Instead of soaking hands or feet in a bowl, you put on the gloves or socks for 10–15 minutes. The emulsion softens the cuticles and skin, and the nails are ready for prep and polish. What is in the emulsion

The emulsion contains, among other things, hydrolysed collagen and hydrolysed keratin. Collagen improves the firmness and elasticity of the skin. Keratin amino acids strengthen the nail plate and reduce brittleness. After the treatment the cuticles are easy to push back with an orange stick, and the skin is soft and smooth. Step by step: 7 stages

1. Clean the nail surface.
2. Put on the gloves or socks and secure them with the adhesive strip from the set.
3. Massage the hands or feet and the nail area to spread the emulsion.
4. Leave on for 10–15 minutes.
5. Carefully cut off the tip of the glove at each finger (for socks — at the toes).
6. Work on the cuticles without taking off the gloves or socks.
7. Take them off and wipe the remaining emulsion from the nails and skin.
